Heavenly Celebrates December Snowfall with Season Pass Extension!
Heavenly Mountain Resort, Calif./Nev. – December 14, 2009 – Heavenly Mountain Resort (www.skiheavenly.com) announced this morning that in celebration of the incredible December snow storms they will extend their discounted season pass price for five days. The adult Heavenly season pass will be available for only $369 through Friday, December 18, 2009; prices will increase on Saturday, December 19.

Heavenly and Lake Tahoe have officially welcomed the El Nino winter with recent snowstorms dumping 30 to 65 inches of snow in the past seven days at the resort. Forecasts call for another storm on Tuesday that could leave as much as an additional foot of snow behind it.

“These are the best early-season conditions we’ve seen in years,” said John Wagnon, Heavenly’s vice president of marketing and sales. “We just had to celebrate by extending the super-low extended season pass price so those who haven’t purchased their pass yet have an opportunity to do so. If there was ever a year you want to own a pass, this is it.”

Heavenly is currently offering skiing and riding on 52 trails, with access through three base areas including the Gondola, California Lodge and Stagecoach Lodge. Conditions are excellent and terrain continues to open almost daily. We expect the resort to be in full operation by Saturday, December 19.

Heavenly season passes are on sale now for $369 at www.skiheavenly.com, but only until December 18, 2009. Heavenly is offering a multitude of time-sensitive deals at www.skiheavenly.com, including its “Heavenly for the Holidays” vacation package, offering a fantastic deal during the busiest holiday periods.
