The 2017-2018 Tahoe Local Pass Unlocks the Best of the West with Access to Tahoe, Park City, and Colorado; 2016-2017 Ski Season Extended at Heavenly and Northstar

  • Tahoe Local Pass offers the best value on skiing and snowboarding at Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood and more
  • Heavenly remains open through April 30; Northstar through April 23 and Kirkwood through April 16

NORTH AND SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif./Nev. – March 7, 2016 – While Tahoe continues to enjoy the largest snowpack in 22 years, the Best of Tahoe Resorts today announces the availability of the Tahoe Local Pass for the 2017-2018 season, providing unrestricted access to Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood. The Tahoe Local Pass also includes limited access to all of Vail Resorts’ iconic mountains in Colorado and Utah.

Additionally, due to unprecedented snowfall, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood will extend their 2016-2017 seasons to April 30, April 23 and April 16 respectively. The Best of Tahoe resorts bring together the spirit of Lake Tahoe’s most famed attributes in one season pass — from Heavenly’s high-energy atmosphere and unmatched lake views, to the relaxed California luxury of Northstar California and Kirkwood’s authentic, big-mountain terrain. Renowned natural snowfall coupled with the most sophisticated snowmaking systems on the West Coast invite skiers and riders to experience the best conditions at Lake Tahoe.

Those unsure of which pass to purchase can visit any Vail Resorts’ mountain resort this spring to explore the terrain and apply that day’s lift ticket purchase toward a 2017-2018 season pass. This allows skiers and riders to receive a taste of the mountains this season in preparation for an amazing season of skiing or riding next year. Purchasing the 2017-2018 Epic Pass this spring ensures that skiers and snowboarders will lock in the lowest price, combined with the most benefits, such as six discounted lift tickets (“Buddy Tickets”) for family and friends.
