BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. – Feb. 12, 2017 – Women’s Ski Week returns for the third time to Breckenridge Ski Resort now through Feb.19, 2017. The week-long celebration at Breck features a three-day Women’s Camp, Women & Wine, First Tracks, Ski Girls Rock, a fireside chat with female leaders and free yoga classes.

Women’s Ski Week helps empower and support women and girls who have never tried skiing to those that ski frequently. It’s about having fun, being comfortable, gaining skills, building bonds and creating a life-long love for the sport of skiing. Women’s Ski Week provides activities for all levels and ages.

Breckenridge has created programs and lessons just for girls and women. Women’s Camp, Women & Wine, Bombshells and the Ultimate 4 Lessons are some of the offerings available just for women. For girls ages 7 to 14, Vail Resorts worked with Olympic gold medalist and World Alpine ski champion, Lindsey Vonn, to develop Ski Girls Rock, a lesson consisting of no more than four students per group and led by a dedicated female instructor who focuses not only on improving skiing skills, but empowering girls through the sport and creating opportunities to bond and build confidence along with developing teamwork and social skills.
