Summer Begins at Breckenridge Ski Resort with the Opening of Summer Fun Park June 10
BRECKENRIDGE, COLO. – May 3, 2016 – After ending a fantastic winter full of snow, sun, fun and events at Breckenridge, Breckenridge Ski Resort is looking ahead to opening of the Breck Summer Fun Park, Friday, June 10, 2016.  Activities for all ages will entertain all summer long, coinciding with Breckenridge town events and a multitude of memorable Colorado Rocky Mountain experiences in the exciting, historic mining town of Breckenridge.
 
Spring into Summer Fun at Breckenridge
The Breckenridge Summer Fun Park will be open daily starting Friday, June 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. through Labor Day; then Friday, Saturday and Sunday for two additional weeks closing on September 18, 2016

 Free parking will be available for guests in the Gondola North parking lot. The BreckConnect Gondola will start running with FREE service on Friday, June 10 at 9 a.m.

Summer Dining
Summer Fun Park visitors can enjoy dining during the summer season on the Ski Hill Grill patio, T-Bar at the base of Peak 8 and Sevens at the base of Peak 7 (lunch and dinner). Town of Breckenridge Summer Events
A visit to Breckenridge isn’t complete without experiencing one of the unique and exciting town events. New this summer, WAVE: Light + Water + Sound is an interactive art installation taking place June 2-5, 2016 transforming the river, bridges and waterfront area into outdoor canvases, stages and exhibition spaces. What’s New for 2016-2017!
This summer, Breckenridge Ski Resort will be constructing a new restaurant on Peak 7 at the top of Independence SuperChair. The restaurant will accommodate 490 guests and offer a variety of food and drink options including a Mediterranean station and extensive salad bar. The new restaurant is expected to open in December, 2016. Construction will also begin this summer for Epic Discovery, set to launch summer, 2017. Guests should be aware of construction and maintenance and pay attention to closures and restricted areas when exploring the mountain.
