Breckenridge Opens Additional Terrain on Peak 9 Friday, Nov. 25
  • Quicksilver SuperChair, Peak 8 SuperConnect, Snowflake Chair and Peak 9 learning area to open on Friday

BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. — Nov. 23, 2016 – Thanks to Mother Nature, cold temperatures and the hard work of Breckenridge Mountain Operations, skiers and snowboarders will be able to enjoy additional terrain beginning Thanksgiving weekend at Breckenridge Ski Resort. The resort is thankful for visitors to the town of Breckenridge, its dedicated and passionate employees and the amazing community and town that makes Breck, Breck.
 
Terrain Updates for Friday, Nov. 25
On Friday, Nov. 25, the Quicksilver SuperChair will open, providing access to Silverthorne trail; the Peak 9 learning area will be available for beginners; Snowflake chair will be offered to skiers and snowboarders; and the Peak 8 SuperConnect will also start spinning, providing skiing access between Peaks 9 and 8. If traveling from Peak 8 to Peak 9 starting Friday, Four O’Clock to Crosscut and Lower Sawmill trails will be open for skiing.
 
Skier Services Updates
Skiers and snowboarders can refuel at Sevens restaurant which is accessible by the free BreckConnect Gondola and Ski Hill Grill, TBar, Vista Haus and The Living Room on Peak 8. The Maggie and TenMile Station restaurants will open on Friday, Nov. 25.
 
Ski School is currently available on Peak 8 and Ski School on Peak 9 will begin Friday, Nov. 25. The North and South Gondola Lots will be discounted. 
 
Breckenridge Ski Resort requires all skiers and riders to observe all posted signs and warnings. Closed trails may contain hazards due to limited natural snow coverage and snowmaking operations. Please keep off closed trails and out of closed areas for safety reasons.
