Beaver Creek Resort’s Featured Wine Dinners Are a Celebration of the Senses
Beaver Creek, Colo., March 5, 2015 – Beaver Creek’s Featured Wine Dinners at Allie’s Cabin offer artfully crafted dishes, masterful wine pairings and a dynamic fireworks display during select Thursday evenings now through March 20.

Arriving at Allie’s Cabin via open-air sleigh pulled by a snowcat, guests are greeted with one of the evening’s selected flights as hosts help everyone settle into the cozy cabin featuring stunning views of Beaver Creek Village. Chef Kirk Weems pairs each of the five courses to satisfy and bring out the flavors from each of the wines. In the midst of this gourmet culinary experience, Thursday Night Lights fireworks illuminate the skies above the resort, bestowing an abundance of color unto an already breathtaking mountain vista.

“Allie’s Cabin featured wine dinners allow guests a rare opportunity to sample impeccable wineries while enjoying specially crafted dishes in an intimate, on mountain setting,” said executive chef Kirk Weems. “At the same time, the open-air sleigh ride and Thursday Night Lights fireworks provide an aura of enchantment to the evening.”

About Allie’s Cabin:
Allie's Cabin, typically a private on-mountain venue serving Beaver Creek Club members and private groups, offers fine dining with spectacular views of Beaver Creek Village and the surrounding valley. The cabin is named after Allie Townsend who was known in the 19th century as the "First Lady" of Beaver Creek. She was the widow of George Townsend, the first settler of Beaver Creek. The menu features a myriad of contemporary regional cuisine including prime aged meats, game, fish and fowl. The cabin is hewn from stacked, rough-sawn timber with mountain-style architecture, and features a large, sunny deck adjacent to a quaint bar. The interior is cozy and welcoming, complete with rustic wooden tables, an eclectic collection of fixtures, and furniture evocative of the era in which Allie lived.
