Beaver Creek Resort Offers Recommendations for Navigating the World Championships

Beaver Creek, Colo., Jan. 30, 2015 – The world is descending on Beaver Creek Resort Feb. 2-15 for the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. More than 700 athletes will be present from 70 nations and in addition to the competitive race events taking place on the slopes, the InterX Celebration will be taking place in Beaver Creek Village each day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

2015 World Championships Organizers Welcome Four More Headlining Artists to Free World Championships Concerts Lineup

VAIL, Colo. – Jan. 21, 2014 – 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Organizing Committee is pleased to add four more headlining names to its free concert lineup for the Championships, including CeeLo Green, KC and the Sunshine Band, Craig Wayne Boyd and Andreas Gabalier.  This latest announcement leaves just a few spots still to fill during the two weeks of the event.

Beaver Creek, Colo. – Holiday skiers and snowboarders will receive an early gift tomorrow when Beaver Creek Resort opens all of Stone Creek Chutes, portions of Royal Elk Glade and trails in Arrowhead, thanks to the consistent recent snowfall which has dropped nearly two feet in the past week, bringing the resort’s season to date cumulative snowfall total across the 100 inch mark.

Beaver Creek Set to Open Additional Terrain this Week Including Grouse Mountain and Larkspur Bowl

Beaver Creek, Colo. –The weekend winter storm in the Rockies brought 17 inches of new snow to Beaver Creek Resort. The mountain is set to open the majority of Grouse Mountain tomorrow and Larkspur Bowl on Wednesday bringing the resort acreage to 1,181 acres of terrain by Wednesday, accessed by 20 lifts.

Vail, Colo. – Dec. 12, 2014 – For the 2014-15 season, Vail Resorts has awarded more than $2,700,000 in EpicPromise community grants to 54 non-profit organizations based in Eagle County as part of its annual grant cycle. The EpicPromise grants support youth program and environmental initiatives that provide basic needs, connect kids with the outdoors, rehabilitate popular trails and increase educational opportunities for all kids.
