Red Sky Ranch Hosts Golfweek Women’s Conference Challenge Sept. 22-24
Beaver Creek, Colo.- Sept. 17, 2014-  Red Sky Golf Club is hosting the top collegiate women’s golf players for the Golfweek Women’s Conference Challenge, Sept. 22-24. The national event features 18 Division 1 teams competing in tournament action contesting 54 holes on the Fazio Course.
 
The tournament format consists of 18 holes each day. Play begins at 10 a.m. on the first and 10th tees Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday’s shotgun start is slated to begin at 9:30 a.m. but is weather dependent. This year practice rounds will take place on Sunday, Sept. 21.
 
Golfweek’s #12 ranked team preseason, Pepperdine, returns as the defending champion this year and they are the only two-time victor of the event. Golf fans have an opportunity to watch top players, and potentially future LPGA players from Division 1 schools such as TCU and tournament host, University of Denver.

The event will be covered by Golfweek Magazine and Golfweek.com and live scoring will be available at GolfStat.com. There is no fee to view the event live and spectators may park at the Red Sky Golf Club Guest Clubhouse.
