Saddle Up for Beaver Creek’s Rodeo Series Bringing Family Fun Each Thursday throughout Summer
Beaver Creek, Colo., June 24, 2015 – The Beaver Creek Rodeo Series, presented by The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, begins Thursday, June 25 for the 14th season. Cowboy boots, hats and cheers will be in the air as this family-friendly summer tradition returns with exciting events, food, drinks, a kids’ zone, and more. The Beaver Creek Rodeo will take place every Thursday night starting June, 25 through Aug. 13, except for July 23. This western-influenced favorite will add a new event to the action, upgraded beverage selection and catered group option.

New this summer, Ranch Saddle Bronc Riding will be added to the event lineup. Ranch Saddle Riding is similar to other bucking bronc events, however, the horse must be saddled as it is for daily use on a ranch, rather than with a rodeo-specific model. Other events include Bareback and Saddle Bronc Riding, the kid-friendly Calf Scramble and Mutton Bustin’, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, guest-event Burro Racing and the always exciting Bull Riding competition. Guests can enjoy luxuries even at the rodeo with a larger bubbly and wine list this year including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir options. Extended guest parties are invited to experience a VIP group space with private tents, catering and special activities. For group options, contact Anna Robinson at arobinson1@vailresorts.com.

Rodeo gates open at 5 p.m. each Thursday with The Grand Entry and National Anthem beginning at 6 p.m. Rodeo tickets can now be purchased in advance at BeaverCreek.com/Rodeo or by visiting the Beaver Creek Adventure Center in Beaver Creek Village until 3 p.m. the day of the rodeo. Tickets may also be purchased at the rodeo beginning at 5 p.m. The rodeo takes place rain or shine, and tickets are non-refundable.
