Beaver Creek Golf Club Opens Friday, May 9 for the Summer Season
Beaver Creek, Colo., May 1, 2014 – It’s time to get out the golf clubs as theBeaver Creek Golf Club will open for member and guest play on Friday, May 9. The 18-hole championship course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., is one of the longest established golf courses in the Vail Valley and is famously known for its narrow and challenging fairways plus direct views of Beaver Creek Resort and opportunity to see wildlife like deer on the course. Beaver Creek Golf Club will offer public play May 9 – June 14, 2014 and Sept. 16 – Oct. 5, 2014. The course will be open to club members and Beaver Creek Resort, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead guests June 15 – Sept. 15, 2014.

This summer golfers will find a new tee-off option on all 18 holes. The recently-added green-colored tees are placed in between the red and white tees. Benefits of the green tee include a shorter drive option. There will now be five tees to choose from to start your play on for each hole.

“Our members and guests will be pleased with our new tee option we’ve added on all 18 holes.  It’s a very enjoyable tee to play from and will boost the gratification on the course” explained David Lopez, director of golf at Beaver Creek Golf Club. “We’ve also done some renovations to the cart path, keeping Beaver Creek Golf Club a premium course for our members and destination visitors to play.”

Golfers can choose the Spring Golf Special for $90, Monday-Thursday,  which includes 18 holes with a golf cart, three-course lunch at The Rendezvous Club restaurant and a $10 golf voucher valid day of play only at the award-winning Beaver Creek Golf Shop, offered during the early season, May 9– June 14. Tee times take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Rendezvous Club is open to the public and consists of a delicious and extensive menu of American cuisine created by executive chef Kirk Weems.

Other early season offers include 18 holes for $95; nine holes for $67 and the twilight rate after 3 p.m. is $70. Juniors ages 7-18 can play for free with a paying adult Monday-Thursday (one free junior round offered per paid adult), and can play 18 holes Friday – Sunday for $70.
