Beaver Creek offers summer camp connoisseurs of all ages a nostalgic escape via its newest package: Camp Not Exactly Roughing It. Camp includes: three nights of lodging at any Beaver Creek Resort property; unlimited hiking, kayaking, and bocce ball; Choice of three of the following activities per camper: rodeo, hiking tours, mountain bike rentals and lift ride with lunch; and nightly s'mores and turndown snacks such as granola bars, ants on a log and "puppy chow."  BEAVER CREEK’S VERSION OF BB&B
Escape to Beaver Creek this Memorial Day Weekend for great eats and musical treats at the annual Blues, Brews & BBQ festival, May 23-24. This fitting start to summer (and BBQ season) in the mountains features daily kids activities, cooking demonstrations, and three free Blues concerts featuring Big Daddy Lee & the King Bee’s, Otis Taylor and Mavis Staples. CALLING ALL DOGS
The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch is waiving its usual $125 per dog stay fee from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend in celebration of Bachelor’s first summer at the resort; Bachelor is the third resident yellow Labrador Retriever at the Beaver Creek property. To take advantage of this special offer, guests should mention “Dog Days of Summer” at the front desk or when making their reservations to waive the fee. Included are an in-room dog bed and bowls, and fresh-baked dog biscuits delivered straight from the pastry kitchen. Can’t bring Fifi or Fido along? Check into the resort’s Loan-a-Lab program. This complimentary service allows hotel guests to book Bachelor for private walks daily, or for 30 or 60 minute hikes on his favorite trail, “Bachelor’s Loop.” Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
