Vail Resorts Hospitality Promotes Robert Tschupp and John Dawsey
BROOMFIELD, Colo. – Sept. 22, 2015 – Vail Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: MTN) is pleased to announce the promotion of Robert Tschupp to Vice President of Eagle County Hospitality and John Dawsey to Vice President of Colorado Mountain Express (CME), effective October 1.
 
As Vice President of Eagle County Hospitality, Tschupp will oversee Vail and Beaver Creek RockResorts properties, including The Arrabelle at Vail Square, The Lodge at Vail, The Osprey at Beaver Creek and The Pines Lodge; as well as Austria Haus and The Vail Marriott and Vail Beaver Creek Resort Properties (VBCRP).  Tschupp has more than 35 years of experience and joined Vail Resorts in 2009 as the Vice President and General Manager of CME, where he’s had a significant impact on the business’s trajectory and performance.
 
In addition to his experience in the transportation logistics industry, Tschupp has extensive experience in the urban hotel, mountain resort, property management and travel industries. He has led teams at Hyatt Hotels, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels, Executive Resorts Travel and Outrigger Hotels/Royal Resorts in Hawaii, specializing in new business development, marketing, mergers and acquisitions, hotel openings and turnarounds, service rebranding and positioning, and operations.
 
In his new role as Vice President and General Manager of CME, Dawsey will assume oversight of Vail Resorts’ guest transportation services division. He has 22 years of experience in the hospitality industry, serving in a variety of sales and marketing leadership positions at properties across the Vail Valley, and has been with Vail Resorts since 1997. Upon joining CME in 2009, Dawsey immersed himself in the leadership of the business, leveraging his sales and marketing background to help drive CME’s growth over the last six years.
