EDWARDS, Colo. – Aug. 19, 2015 – As part of Vail Resorts’ EpicPromise program, Colorado Mountain Express (CME) has partnered with The Cycle Effect by donating a 15-passenger Ford E350 van to the organization.
Colorado Mountain Express’s 17th Annual Fill the Van food drive will take place on Saturday, Nov. 15, when thousands of pounds of food will be collected for food banks across Colorado’s mountain communities in Summit, Eagle, Garfield and Pitkin Counties. CME vans will be parked outside of grocery stores throughout Summit County, Eagle County and the Roaring Fork Valley for collections between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
As part of its 30th anniversary celebration, Colorado Mountain Express (CME) is making a significant change to its fleet of shuttle vehicles by adding 20 new Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans to its Summit County Fleet. The addition of the new Sprinter vans will make CME’s fleet of passenger Sprinter vans the largest in Colorado, decreasing CME’s environmental impact, and enhancing the experience for guests.

In light of the massive floods striking Colorado, and the resulting re-direction of the Front Range Echo project, eight CME vans made the 100-mile trek to Boulder last Saturday, Oct. 5, to aid in local flood relief efforts.
