32nd Annual Blizzard Ski & Snowboard Sale Moves to new location on Main Street
Telluride, Aug. 11, 2014--The 32nd Annual BLIZZARD SALE, the biggest ski and snowboard sale on the Western Slope moves to the Main Street of Telluride this year for three days--Aug. 22-24 from 9am-5pm. The giant sale will be held at the Telluride Sports Main Street location at 150 W. Colorado Avenue and includes inventory for adults and children.
Shoppers can save 30-70 percent off the original price on a wide selection of last year’s merchandise including skis, boards, boots, bindings, outerwear, footwear and accessories.
“Because we are in the process of making room for all the new 2014-15 models and styles that are arriving, the Blizzard Sale is the place to pick up the very best deals of the year,” explained Scott Leigh, regional manager for Vail Resorts Retail. “After more than 30 years, most locals and many visitors have figured out this is the time and place to stock up on new equipment and clothing at prices rarely seen in this region,” he added.
During the three-day sale, special incentives will be offered to early bird shoppers plus raffle drawings will be held daily with a variety of prizes. Custom bootfitting is also offered during the weekend with trained boot fitters onsite to assist with foot beds and adjustments so boot buyers can get the perfect fit.
