Epic Pass Expands European Access in World-Class Resorts in France and Italy

Vail Resorts announced today that Epic Pass holders will now receive seven days of skiing or snowboarding with no blackout dates at Les 3 Vallees, France and Skirama Dolomiti in a long-term alliance beginning with 2018-19 winter season. The Epic Pass, available for $949, offers skiers and snowboarders unlimited, unrestricted access to 19 mountain resorts, including world-class destinations like Whistler Blackcomb, Vail, Breckenridge and Park City, plus additional access to 46 more throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, Switzerland, Italy, and Austria. The Epic Pass is the only multi-resort pass to offer significant access to European resorts. Sunday, Nov. 18 is the last chance to buy the 2018-19 Epic Pass and the entire suite of Epic Season Pass options.

Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek Resort to Open Early for the 2018-19 Winter Season

Vail, originally slated to open on Friday, Nov. 16, will open for the season on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 9 a.m. Beaver Creek will open Saturday, Nov. 17, four days ahead of its scheduled Nov. 21 opening date.

Emma, the World’s First Digital Mountain Assistant, Kicks Off the 2018-19 Winter Season in Beta at Keystone Ski Resort

Vail Resorts announced today that Emma, the world’s first digital mountain assistant, has begun her inaugural winter season, launching in beta at Keystone Ski Resort in Colorado, which opened ahead of schedule this week. Emma is using the early season to better understand how guests ask questions while at the resort and will launch at eight additional ski resorts later this season: Vail, Beaver Creek and Breckenridge in Colorado; Park City in Utah; Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in Tahoe; and Whistler Blackcomb in Canada.

Last Chance to Purchase the 2018-19 Epic Pass is Sunday, Nov. 18

The deadline to purchase the 2018-19 Epic Pass and the entire lineup of Epic Season Pass options – including the Epic Local, Epic 7-Day, Epic 4-Day, and Epic Military Pass – is Sunday, Nov. 18. The Epic Pass continues to provide the greatest value in skiing and snowboarding, offering access to 65 of the world’s best mountain resorts throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, Switzerland, Italy, and Austria. In addition to unlimited, unrestricted access to Vail, Breckenridge, Whistler Blackcomb and Park City, the Epic Pass has added 20 new destinations for the 2018-19 season and will now feature unlimited, unrestricted access to Crested Butte and seven days in Telluride in Colorado, limited access to Resorts of the Canadian Rockies’ six resorts in Canada, including Fernie and Kicking Horse, and Hakuba Valley’s nine resorts in Japan.
