Vail Mountain to Open Rebound Trampoline at Mountain Plaza in Vail Village on Friday, June 26

VAIL, Colo. – June 25, 2009 – Hone your big mountain aerial tricks this summer with Vail’s rebound trampoline at Mountain Plaza in Vail Village, beginning Friday, June 26. A climbing wall at Mountain Plaza is expected to open in the coming days. The trampoline and climbing wall will provide a much-anticipated base-area activity center in addition to Vail’s current on-mountain offerings at Adventure Ridge at Eagle’s Nest.

The base area activities at Mountain Plaza will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursdays through Mondays through August 24 with additional weekend and holiday operations through September 20. Tickets for the trampoline and climbing wall can be purchased for $10 each at the Express Lift window at Mountain Plaza. The Express Lift will also serve a variety of food and beverage items.

Trampoline participants must weigh at least 30 pounds. Climbing wall participants must weigh at least 45 pounds. Harnesses will be provided for both activities.

  • June 26 - Aug. 24: Thursdays through Mondays, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. *Climbing wall opening day TBA
  • Thursday, Aug 27 - Sunday, Aug. 30, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Friday, Sept. 4 - Monday, Sept. 7, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 12 - Sunday, Sept. 20: Saturdays and Sundays only, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
