MT. BRIGHTON, Mich. – Aug. 24, 2016 – Mt. Brighton is looking forward to the coming ski season by offering skiers and snowboarders the guaranteed lowest price on 2016-2017 season passes through Monday, Sept. 5, for access to the best skiing in Michigan and the best mountain resorts in Colorado, Utah and Lake Tahoe. This year’s season pass line-up offers a pass for every type of skier and snowboarder, whether guests are in search of unrestricted local access or a trip to iconic ski mountains like Vail, Beaver Creek and Breckenridge in Colorado, or Park City in Utah.

For those looking to venture out West, season pass options allow access to nine world-class resorts in Colorado, Utah and Lake Tahoe, ensuring that skiers and snowboarders have the ability to enjoy the best snow this winter brings. At only $609, the Epic Local Pass offers unlimited, unrestricted skiing and snowboarding at Mt. Brighton, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado with limited restrictions at Park City in Utah, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood at Lake Tahoe, and a total of 10 days with holiday restrictions at Vail and Beaver Creek in Colorado. As an added bonus, any Mt. Brighton kids’ season pass purchased will automatically be upgraded to the Epic Local Child Pass, giving unlimited access to the resorts in Colorado, Utah and Lake Tahoe.

Pass holders with a passion for Mt. Brighton will enjoy unlimited, unrestricted access to Michigan’s highest quality snow thanks to the ski area’s enhanced snowmaking system, which is the most advanced automated snowmaking system in the state. With prime snowmaking conditions, Mt. Brighton’s highly experienced snowmaking team can open the ski area in just two days, which is half the time needed prior to the system’s upgrade. The resort’s recent snowmaking expansion, which was part of a $10 million investment in 2013, ensures the best-quality snow surface for guests of all ability levels.

“Of all of the investments and upgrades put into Mt. Brighton in 2013, the most consistent feedback we hear from guests is how much the quality of the snow has improved,” said Chris Sorensen, general manager of Mt. Brighton. “The highest-quality snow surface differentiates Mt. Brighton from other ski areas in Michigan, and our season passes offer the added benefit of a variety of skiing and snowboarding experiences at the best resorts in the West.”
