Uncorked Mountain Wine Festival Features Wine, Jazz, and Cuisine at Keystone Resort

Grand Wine Tasting, Wine Pairing Dinners and Wine Seminars Entertain and Educate Festival Attendees

Keystone Resort hosts the Uncorked Mountain Wine Festival July 10-12 featuring more than 100 wineries, a Grand Wine Tasting with wines from around the globe, wine pairing dinners at Keystone’s finest restaurants, and wine seminars. Live jazz music and children’s activities add entertainment to the Grand Tasting.  

The Grand Wine Tasting runs from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, July 11 in the River Run Events Plaza. Glasses for the tasting are $50 each and guests can sample hundreds of wines. To entertain festival goers, free jazz concerts start at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Musicians include Transit Authority, Inside Out, Lisa Bell and Days of 8ight. Free crafts and children’s activities will be available at the event from 1-6 p.m. Wine is also offered for purchase at $5 a glass in the Uncorked Wine Garden.
 
The first Wine Pairing Dinner is at the Keystone Ranch featuring wines from Brassfield Estates Winery on Friday, July 10 with tickets for $110. The second Wine Pairing Dinner is at the Summit Seafood Company and is co-hosted by Frog’s Leap Winery on Saturday, July 11 with tickets for $65. Both dinners include a four course meal with wine pairings.
 
Three wine seminars, all held in the Pavilion at Keystone, will tease the palate while informing of the latest wine industry trends. Tickets are $15 for each seminar.
·         Women in Wine- Saturday, July 11 at noon. This seminar explores the contributions of women in the wine industry, including wine making processes, and participants sample delicious wines from the industry's top female wine makers.
·         Sustainable, Organic, and Biodynamic Wines - Saturday, July 11 at 3 p.m. This seminar displays the "greener" side of the wine-making industry, from technique to taste.
·         Bubbles: Champagne and Sparkling Wine - Sunday, July 12 at 1 p.m. This seminar dives into the world of bubbly with tasty examples of wines that fizz and flow.
 
Sunday features a Music and Mimosa event with live music and champagne treats starting at 11 a.m. in the River Run Events Plaza. Guests are encouraged to bring a glass from the Grand Tasting for free samples.

Guests attending the event can take advantage of Keystone’s Uncorked lodging package for $201 a night and includes a night at the Inn at Keystone and one glass for the Grand Tasting event on Saturday, July 11.
