Six Spectacular Spring Après Ski Decks

Six Spectacular Spring Après Ski Decks
Spring Skiing is as synonymous with sunny après desks as it is with the sun itself – and Vail Resorts has you covered with some of the best spots to soak up the sun at  Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly or Northstar California. Following are six spots worth checking out:

1.   Unbuckle at Tamarack, Heavenly
New for the 2011-2012 ski season, Unbuckle at Tamarack has quickly become Tahoe’s ultimate après party. From a live DJ to go-go dancers and half-price drinks, Unbuckle is the perfect ending to a stellar day on the mountain. Located inside Tamarack Lodge at the top of Heavenly’s gondola, Unbuckle at Tamarack takes place on Fridays and Saturdays from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and features DJs, the EpicMix Chix dancers, half-priced drinks and food specials.

2.      The Last Lift Bar, Keystone
The Last Lift Bar is conveniently located in the Mountain House at the base of the Peru Lift catering to those who wish to bask in the late afternoon sun with a beer in hand while enjoying live music. Skiers and snowboarders have flocked to the Last Lift Bar for many years, making the vibe time-honored owing to the spacious patio, superb beer specials, and great appetizers including their scrumptious wings.

3.      Tavern on the Square, Vail
Tavern on the Square’s outdoor patio is situated at the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola (#19) in the Lionshead base area of Vail, featuring a southern exposure perfect for minimizing your goggle tan before you head back to the office and watching skiers and snowboarders trickle down the mountain at the end of the day. Try the Tavern waffle fries with Maytag blue cheese, bacon, tomato and green onions or grilled elk lettuce wraps. The Tavern boasts a large selection of regional brews as well as cocktails like the bacon-infused vodka Bloody Mary.

The T-Bar is the newest and hottest après ski bar in Breckenridge. The T-Bar is located slope-side at the base of Peak 8 inside One Ski Hill Place. Not only can guests enjoy their favorite beverages with spectacular views on the ski slope patio, but the après ski food specials and fun, friendly atmosphere will make for an unparalleled experience after a day on the slopes. The BreckConnect Gondola is located conveniently right outside the T-Bar, guests can stay until last call and get a free ride down into town.

Round out your ski day and head to the popular Broken Arrow deck for après fun and live music in the warm Colorado sunshine.
