Perisher’s Freedom Pass is Now Epic

As part of the announced acquisition of Perisher by Vail Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: MTN), Perisher announced that it has re-opened sales of the Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits for the 2015 ski season. The 2015 Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits is on sale now through 31 May, for AU$749 for adults and AU$429 for students.

2015 World Championships Organizers Welcome Four More Headlining Artists to Free World Championships Concerts Lineup

VAIL, Colo. – Jan. 21, 2014 – 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Organizing Committee is pleased to add four more headlining names to its free concert lineup for the Championships, including CeeLo Green, KC and the Sunshine Band, Craig Wayne Boyd and Andreas Gabalier.  This latest announcement leaves just a few spots still to fill during the two weeks of the event.

Vail’s Legendary Back Bowls Open in Time for Thanksgiving Day for the 2014-2015 Winter Season

VAIL, Colo. – Nov. 26, 2014 – Skiers and snowboarders have even more to be thankful for this Thanksgiving holiday at Vail Mountain, one of the largest ski resorts in the world, as the resort opened the High Noon Express Lift (#5) today, providing access to the terrain of its legendary Sun Up and Sun Down bowls. Vail received more than 30 inches of snow since Saturday, and more than six feet in the past three weeks, making for fantastic conditions across the mountain.

Les 3 Vallées wird „Epic“

Die Vail Resorts in Colorado/USA dehnen ihre Kooperation mit den weltbesten Skigebieten weiter aus. Neben Verbier im Schweizer Kanton Wallis und Ski Arlberg in Österreich sind sie jetzt auch in Frankreich präsent. Als „Epic Partner“ für die gegenseitige Nutzung der Skipässe hat das amerikanische Unternehmen nun die Zusammenarbeit mit Les 3 Vallées in Frankreich verkündet. Das Gebiet umfasst Courchevel, La Tania, Méribel, Brides-les-Bains, Les Menuires, Saint Martin de Belleville, Val Thorens und Orelle. Damit ermöglicht der „Epic Pass“ für die Saison 2013/2014 Skivergnügen an fünf aufeinander folgenden Tagen auf den Pisten von Les 3 Vallées. Und das ist nochnicht alles: Den Inhabern des „Epic Pass“ stehen mit der grenzüberschreitenden Liftkarte insgesamt 26 Skigebiete in vier Ländern auf zwei Kontinenten zur Verfügung – von den USA über Österreich und die Schweiz bis nach Frankreich.
