Breckenridge hosts the US Snowboarding and US Freeskiing, Halfpipe and Slopestyle Teams

This week, Breckenridge is proud to be home to the US Snowboarding and US Freeskiing, Halfpipe and Slopestyle Teams, Breckenridge Freeride team and other elite athletes as they train for upcoming competitions like the XGames and Winter Dew Tour.

The Freeway terrain park is consistently one of the best in the world - the perfect place for us to learn new tricks and have a blast doing it. It's going to be an amazing week here at Breck, “said Mike Jankowski, Head Coach, US Snowboarding and US Freeskiing, halfpipe and slopestyle teams

"I’m really looking forward to skiing with the US team at Breck. Breck has the best park so it makes sense to have the US team to come here and train before X Games and Dew Tour,” added Bobby Brown, Breck team rider.
Because of training this week, there will be limited impacts to the Freeway terrain park, with some of the lower jumps closed until mid-morning. However the upper portion of the park, including the 22-foot superpipe, will be open to the public Monday - Sunday starting at 9 a.m.
