Beaver Creek’s Zach’s Cabin Wins Award of Excellence for 8th Straight Year
BEAVER CREEK, Colo., July 24, 2012 — Beaver Creek is proud to announce that Zach’s Cabin has received the Best of Award of Excellence for the eighth straight year from Wine Spectator magazine. The Best of Award of Excellence honor is bestowed upon select restaurants that offer superior wine lists with more than 400 selections, along with superior presentation and feature depth across wine regions.
Nestled on Beaver Creek Mountain in Bachelor Gulch with expansive views of the Gore Range, Zach’s Cabin offers mountain elegance and ambiance with sophisticated food and wine. This award captures the quality and legendary attention to detail and service that guests have come to expect at Beaver Creek.
Zach’s Cabin’s Sommelier, Jeremy Gramling, explains, “the strengths of our list are California, Italy and France. Our list is geared heavy towards reds since our business occurs during the winter. If you are a fan of great reds Zach’s Cabin is the place to be.” Jeremy spends most of his off season traveling the world in search of great wine. His travels include California, Oregon, Washington, Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania, Italy, France and Austria. Jeremy will be heading back to France to do harvest with the famous Domaine of Didier Dagueneau this October.
